The Bike Route began business in 1974
in the North Florida college town of
Gainesville. It has served the cycling
community for four decades, to the casual,
recreational cyclist, families, college students
as well as hardcore professionals.

The Bike Route is active in the local social,
club and professional riding circles.
We sponsor numerous teams in multiple
disciplines, including road, mountain bike
and triathlon. We ride and host regular local
training rides, both club-based and social.

We take great pride in our hard-earned and
well-deserved reputation in the cycling
community as the best darn bike shop in
Gainesville… some might even say, the world.
